本會簡介

緣起
本會為第十六世大寶法王 日佩多杰 於一九八一年首次蒞臨本港弘法後，應信眾要求而創立；并於翌年正式註冊為香港政府認可的非牟利機構。
本會一貫致力於弘揚正信佛教，尤以藏傳佛教迦珠派（又稱白派）教法為主。 本傳承之最高導師為大寶法王噶瑪巴，至今已是第十七次轉世。

活動
本會經常從中國、印度、尼泊爾、歐美等地邀請迦珠派上師前來舉行弘法節目（包括佛學開示、灌頂、傳法、法會和火供等等），也積極參于和支持本港佛教界活動；此外，本會也定期舉行放生和共修法會。 本會現址佔地六仟餘呎，可容納超過四佰餘人，屬於在香港具規模和歷史較長的密宗道場之一。

About Us
1982, the Karma Kagyu (H.K.) Buddhist Society was founded by His Holiness The Sixteenth Gyalwa Karmapa, Rigpe Dorje, after his first visit to Hong Kong the previous year. We are a non-profit organization, registered under Section 21 of the Company Ordinance of the Government of Hong Kong SAR.
The Society is dedicated to the study and practice of Buddhism and in particular, the Karma Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.
The Supreme Head of our Lineage is His Holiness The Gyalwa Karmapa whose Seventeenth Reincarnation is Oygen Trinle Dorje (b. 1985), currently residing in the Gyutu Tantric Monastery, Dharamsala, H.P., India.
In 1992, The Seventeenth Karmapa Ogyen Trinle Dorje was enthroned at the Tsurphu Monastery, the traditional main seat of all the Karmapas, built by the First Karmapa. The Seventeenth Karmapa had since stayed there until end of 1999.
For activities, this Society often invites Kagyu teachers from India, Nepal, China, the U.S. and Europe to visit and conduct dharma programs including giving teachings, empowerments and practice instructions, holding pujas and other rituals. We also organize ‘life release’ and ‘group practices’ on a regular basis. In addition, we are also committed to working closely with the local Buddhist community at large for the benefits and welfare of all sentient beings.
Our premises is over 6,000 square feet in area and can hold more than 400 participants. It is being considered as one of the oldest and largest Vajrayana centers in Hong Kong.
